Gulbarga: Mass joined Popular Front's struggle for Social Justice

Gulbarga:Popular front of India, Gulbarga district unit, organized a Mega publicity program here on Friday at National College Ground as part of the organization’s Social Justice Conference will be held at Ramleela Maidan, Newdelhi on 26-27 November.

This program which was scheduled after a RALLY and started with unity song had been attended by hundreds of people from the city as an evidence for the people's support for the organization's struggle for Social Justice.

Popular front of India leaders Maulana Usman Baig *NATIONAL EXECUTIVE COUNCIL MEMBER), Abdul Wahid Sait (VICE PRESIDENT KARNATAKA STATE), Razaq  Kemmara (SEC MEMBER), Farooqurrahman (SEC MEMBER), Shahid Naseer (DISTRICT PRESIDENT GULBARGA ) , Abdul Majeed Kodlipete (PRESIDENT, SDPI, KARNATAKA STATE) led the rally that started at 5:30 P.M from the fort of Gulbarga. passed through the market and reached National College Ground where Public Meet was held.

Maulana Usman Baig (NEC member, Popular Front of India) delivered the keynote address and highlighted the double standards adopted by the elites of India and  explained the reason for organizing "SOCIAL JUSTICE CONFERENCE".
MR Ramesh Nagaragere (president NCHRO Karnataka state) while speaking at the occasion stated the facts regarding the incredible gap between the rich and the poor in India and highlighted the importance of Social Justice.

Mr. Sudhir Nag (BEMCEF south India coordinator) stating the Book of Baba Saheb exposed the unholy strategies adopted by the hindutva forces to damage the social and secular fabric of India.
Mr. Hanmanth G Yelsangi {state general secretary, DALIT SENA Karnataka) also spoke at the occasion and highlighted the plight of DALITS in the BJP ruling Karnataka and the injustice being committed to them.

He criticized the BJP regime for adopting double standards and not allowing Popular Front of India to hold Freedom Parade.

Mr. Abdul Wahid Sait (vice president, Popular Front of India Karnataka) during his presidential speech , highlighted several issues regarding SOCIAL JUSTICE, and in particular he invited the DALIT and oppressed communities and their organizations to Join hands with Popular Front of India. He also clarified that the DAY 26 November is chosen because the Nation adopted its Independent Social –Secular constitution on 26th November 1949. He urged the Muslims and other oppressed to wake up and strive hard to change their conditions and obtain social equality.

The program was concluded by Shaik Siraj Pasha{GEN secretary, Popular Front of India dist Gulbarga},he invited all the people to the conference will be held at Ramleela Maidan, New Delhi on 26-27 November.

Centre’s Teachers’ Day directive to schools unacceptable: Popular Front

New Delhi: Popular Front of India General Secretary OMA Salam in a statement condemned the Centre’s new directive to make arrangements to web cast nationally an interactive session of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is going to address students at Manekshaw Stadium, New Delhi, on the Teachers’ Day. It is strange that Centre has even demanded the attendance report from schools of all the states. Taking a cue from the Centre’s directive even some Congress ruled states Kerala have issued circular to schools for forcing the students to attend the programme. On the day students will have to stay at schools longer than regular days since the programme begins at 3 pm. This undemocratic move is an interference with federal structure of the country. Though Education is on the concurrent list, it is mostly a state responsibility and it is the states that take decisions on such matters. Our children should not subject to this kind of propaganda gimmick to enhance a leader’s personal charism...
