Subject: regarding establishing of the peaceful situation at Ijeri & Jewargi Taluka, Gulbarga district.

We the Popular front of India, Gulbarga district would like to express deep condolences over loss of life. We share our deep concern over law and order disturbance at above said location, and request you to interfere as required. It has become an insecure situation for the local residents of the village; they are scared of violence and harassment by arbitrary arrests of local police. We request you take necessary action by all measures.
Due to interference and constant hatemongering done by some people of vested interests, to damage the communal harmony, the region around Jewargi has been on boil for some years. This now started showing its ugly face in the form of riots and clashes. . As Ijeri, Jewargi Taluka, Gulbarga district has become one of the most communally sensitive areas with periodic reports of violence. We believe that it’s due to not stopping those hatemongering persons who are not leaving any opportunity to incite communal violence and disturb peace; there has been occurrence of communal incidents in every few days in the past couple of years. The same thing happened in the same location 2 months back in the holy month of Ramzan and now it has happened during Ganesh festival.
We appreciate the local administration for the immediate control but there is need to bring better solution and justice to all. And rein in the people who are trying to vitiate the peaceful atmosphere and create disturbances; restrict their further entry in to the District. We Demand a Strict action against those involved. We also demand that police must refrain from arbitrary arrests of innocents.  We Demand adequate compensation to the kin of deceased and those injured.
Today met with Superintendent of Police Gulbarga regarding this issue with Popular Front Karnataka SEC member Shahid Naseer, Popular Front Gulbarga Dist President Syed Zakir, Popular Front Gulbarga G.Sec Md Mohsin, Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) Gulbarga dist President Shaik Siraj, Tameer-e-Millath President Adv Wahaj Baba, Ex Consular Jewergi Ibrahim Patel  & also Ijeri Jewergi Peoples.

Delhi: Popular Front of India took out a Parliament March on Monday 15 March 2010 to press the demand for reservation to Muslims in Central Government services and in admission to educational institutions . The March started from Madya House area at 11 am. The participants carried banners and placards calling for equal justice to Muslims.
